I’m so behind! I have a good reason though, and it’s because I’ve been working hard to polish my next novel, set to be released December 2023 (more on that later.)
Anyway, here’s a few new haikus, picking up where we left off. Not a huge amount happens, but Levin’s feelings when sees Kitty in the carriage makes me like more.
- Levin turns to the peasants for help with farming and love
Turned to an old man
for the truth about the hay
Instead, saw young love
- Levin sees Kitty ride by in her carriage
Our eyes met. She knew.
Her gaze captures the whole world.
The meaning of life.
- Alexey tries to decide how to deal with Anna
Duel Vronsky? Nope!
Divorce means public scandal
Anna should suffer
- Alexey sends Anna a letter
No divorce, Anna.
Fall in line. You’ve got no choice.
P.S. Here’s some cash.
- Anna has doubts
I hate Alexey
But I love our son so much
What if I lose him?
